WORKSHOPS
Classes and Workshops
are one of the best ways to get through to your own artistic talents.
The basic disciplines of the art of painting will help any artist learn
and grow. But more importantly, artists need to establish a firm
foundation on which to be themselves -- without it, you could spend
years getting through what should be just the beginning!
All workshops
are limited to 12 students with a minimum of 5. We will be painting the
beautiful hills, ranches and beaches of
the Tomales area,
en plein air. Daily demonstrations will emphasize seeing the abstract
design in the landscape. Painting (all prima) the direct approach,
seeing the big shapes, and relationships of grays to color and color
harmony, aka the
F.I.S.H. School of Color. I take
beginners to professional, all levels are welcome. Each day starts with
a demo, after which you will get to paint and put into practice what you
have learned. I work individually with each student, and everyone gets
plenty of attention from me!
For my
Tomales workshops, we
meet at my studio at 27050 Hwy. 1, Tomales, CA at 9:00am the first
morning, and go from 9am until 4pm each day, with a break for lunch
mid-day. For plein air workshops we sometimes meeting at planned
painting sites on the other days. Transportation is not included during
the workshop; you must provide your own vehicle or ride with a friend.
You will also need your own supplies.
A supply list and all workshop information will be sent
to you once
your payment is received.

TERMS & CANCELLATION POLICY
(Tomales workshops): There is a $100 deposit on all Tomales workshops to
hold your spot. Balances are due in-full 30 days prior to the workshop
and are non-refundable 29 days or less. Cancellations 30 days prior to
the workshop are fully refundable. No exceptions please.
