Plan a getaway
for an up coming art event!
What
better way to enjoy art than on location... Please look at the adjacent
calendar of events, and make plans to come along with me and join in the
fun!
Most of
the art "Paint Outs" that I participate in are great destinations for
fun and relaxation -- for you anyway, we artists are painting
hard, and the results are -- well, you've just got to be there!
The
above picture is at the San Juan Capistrano awards ceremony where I
took 2nd Place with my painting, "Pictures of Lilies."
Most
events are a week long with most of the activities on the last weekend.
So you can plan to come for the whole week or just for the weekend. Each
event starts out with top artists from all over the nation coming
together for some sort of kickoff. And then we are on location painting
usually until Friday. During that time you can either observe the
artists or just enjoy the areas other attractions. But, keep a couple of
evenings open because there's usually a party or two. The grand finale
is usually a gala dinner, a showing of all the best work, and a sale
where fresh paintings get grabbed up before everyone else hears about
it!
